I am a retired academic scientist with degrees from Pretoria University, Cambridge and the Sorbonne in Paris. I taught chemistry and history of science at Wits University, Johannesburg, then space science at the Wits Planetarium to children and adults, retiring in 1987, now reading and writing books.
